LIFE

recorder BEKA
FAVORITE (?)

First Beka expedition with Heinrich Bumb to Egypt (Jan/Feb 1905)

Exactly when Bielefeld left Beka is not known, but in his obituary in the PhZ of 11/9/1912 it says: "Seitdem [=Beka's Aufnahme-Reise um die Welt] ist der Verstorbene noch im Dienste anderer Schallplattenfabriken tätig gewesen".

THE GREAT BEKA ‘EXPEDITION’ 1905 - 1906

Translated and adapted by John Want from a series of articles written by Heinrich Bumb and published in Der Phonographische Zeitschrift in 1906.
