When did C. C. Blyton join The Gramophone Company/HMV ???

The earliest contract in the EMI Archives with C. C. Blyton is of 2 Nov 1928 but of course that doesn't necessarily mean it is the first one with the company. He continued to work with the company in the thirties (source: Jackie Bishop)

On 5 November - 12 December 1928 made recordings in Vienna (Alan Kelly has W. J. Beckwith as recording engineer and 6 Dec 1928 as last session date)
On 9-26 January 1929 made recordings in Milan
On 7-8 October 1929 made recordings in Rome
